Odoo authentication

Sign in with the Odoo credentials people already have. The app pulls their assigned projects and tasks live. No second account to create, no second password to forget.

One-click task timer

Start tracking any task with a single click, with a running HH:MM:SS timer in the window. Switching tasks saves the current session first, so nothing is lost in the handover.

Automated screenshots

One fullscreen capture at a random moment inside each 10-minute period — one between 10:00 and 10:10, another between 10:10 and 10:20. Multi-monitor setups are stitched horizontally into a single image.

Smart inactivity detection

Ten minutes with no keyboard or mouse and the timer stops itself, deducting the idle stretch. The person is told both in the app and by a system notification, so nobody discovers it an hour later.

Crash recovery and heartbeat

A checkpoint is written every five seconds. If the machine crashes or loses power, the next launch offers a one-click Recover & Save rather than a shrug.

Offline mode and auto-sync

When the network drops or Odoo is unreachable, entries queue up locally. They sync on their own the moment the connection comes back — nobody has to remember to press anything.

Pick a task and start

Tasks arrive grouped by Odoo project. One click on play: the opening screenshot is taken and the five-second heartbeat starts.

It watches while you work

One screenshot at a random moment in every ten-minute period, stitched across monitors. Idle, sleep and lock are watched at the same time.

Stop, describe, sync

Press stop, write what the time went on, and the entry posts to Odoo. If the network is down it queues and goes up later.

Team chat

Discuss without leaving the app

Your Odoo Discuss inbox — channels, messages, attachments — inside the tracker. Asking a colleague a question does not have to mean opening a browser and losing the thread.

    Messages refresh every ten seconds, so what a colleague sends from Odoo on the web shows up here without a reload.

  • File attachments

    Send PDFs, images or any file up to 25 MB straight from the desktop into an Odoo channel.

    Every channel and direct message in a slide-in sidebar, with the Odoo 14, 15 and 16+ models detected automatically.

How much does TimeTaskTracker cost?

It is a paid product, licensed per team. Pricing depends on team size and the platforms you need, so get in touch and we will quote it.

Do I need an Odoo account?

Yes. TimeTaskTracker authenticates against your Odoo instance and syncs every entry through it — it is not a standalone tracker with an optional Odoo export.

How are screenshots stored?

Captured locally, compressed to JPEG at 80% quality, then uploaded to your team's own Google Drive folder. The local copy is deleted once the upload succeeds.

What about privacy?

Screenshots go only to the Google Drive folder your team designates. Nothing is sent to any third-party server, and there is no Squad Focus-hosted copy of your data.
